It’s been a cold and yucky winter here in the Midwest and more specifically in Terre Haute. We are ready for spring but by the time summer gets here, we’ll be ready for it to cool down again. The groundhog did not see his shadow this year so spring is just around the corner. I think he has only been right about 40% of the time but we’ll take it this time and see what happens.

A friendly reminder that you should start getting ready for your pre-spring cleanup. Your trees will live a longer and healthier life if you take care of them and the areas around the base. Believe it or not, it actually makes a huge difference in the health of your tree when you remove branches, limbs and leaves from the base area of the tree. It helps keep the moisture at the base of your tree which gives it the energy it needs to grow healthy.
